In Chinese culture, the 70th birthday is celebrated in a big way, and Yang Qinglong, an 80-year-old self-taught electrician and engineer, had no doubts about what his gift would be for the 70th birthday of his wife, Mao: a home elevator. Filmed in Jiangshan (China), "Elevator Story" immerses us in four days alongside Yang and Mao, sharing their daily life, walks in the park, and introducing us to their 'elevator of love'.
